Zeta is a hand deployable electronically controlled distraction device which provides five 170dB events with minimal flash, smoke and fragmentation.
Specifically designed for Law Enforcement Agencies and Special Forces, Zeta provides a dynamic solution for hostage release and method of entry. By reducing the flash and smoke discharged from the device the risk to collateral damage is dramatically reduced.
The unique design of Zeta allows for one handed ambidextrous deployment from activation to throwing. Once the safety catch is removed a simple thumb movement can be used to arm or reset the device as required. On ejecting the device from the hand an internal programmed timer starts a countdown to the initiation of the first event, this initial time delay can be set from 0.5 second up to 30 seconds. The time between the five events can also be programmed to mirror a specific pattern or timing profile as required. Once the device has been used it enters a safe inert state for retrieval and recharge.
