Typhon RS-200 distraction payload is a stand-alone, add-on system to the Recon Robotics Throwbot 2.0 UGV platform. The payload utilises our common DC-100 cartridge architecture, allowing Typhon cartridges (distraction, smoke and irritant), to be swapped easily between the Throwbot system and other deployed Typhon payload systems (UAS / Ground etc.).
Control of the Typhon RS-200 system initiation is via the separate Typhon RF hand control unit (HCU). The Typhon HCU allows for operator selection of single event or burst initiation of the Typhon distraction cartridge providing maximum operational flexibility. Cartridges are easily and quickly inserted and released by the operator with no external cables requiring connection. Each distraction cartridge provides up to x5 170dB events.
